Body safe

  • Body safe was run by Eliza, Cinnamon, and Laura They came into our class every Wednesday for 4 weeks
  • In Body Safe, we learnt about Consent and No consent, Consent is when you give a person a enthusiastic yes and No consent is when you dont say yes or if you cant reply back
  • It was good how we were learning about different things to do with when we grow up because now I know whats gonna happen and how i can fix it
  • The best thing about Body Safe was they taught us a lot of things like the you have to over 16 to have sex and if your younger you can get into trouble
  • If someone was to ask me about Body Safe I would tell them to dont be a stand by and to help those that are getting sexually abused and support them all the way

Wow it is really cool to see all the things you learnt and remembered from BodySafe, especially your understanding of consent - spot on!!
I particularly liked that you took away a message about supporting survivors of sexual abuse - so important!

I also really like the way you made the brainstorm in to a visual part of your blog.

  2. Kia ora Lyvette,

This is awesome! It sounds like you really understood all the key messages we were trying to get across in our classes :)

I love that you think it's important to be an active by stander and to support people who need help. These are such good things we can all do to help make our communities safer and happier places!
